Got the best pixie hair cut ever. I'm an airline steward, and just flew in for the day and needed my hair done. Found this great little salon on pope ave. Wish I could remember the gentleman's name who did my hair, but he did a fan-tasted job. excellent salon.

I'm 62 and I can honestly say that this was the worst haircut I've ever had! My hair was butchered; the sides are not symmetrical and cut on the opposite angle. The owner cut my hair and said he was trained at Sassoon in NYC...he was almost rude to me and then ended the session with "you know, it takes about a week before a haircut looks good"...at that point I knew it wasn't going to be good and I think he recognized how awful my haircut was! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I moved to the area from Florida and totally trusted the reviews on this site. I went in and the annoying, unprofessional New Yorker who likes to say "shit" and "fuck" in front of customers repeatedly butchered my hair. He charges more for his experience, but I'd rather have his assistant. They cut corners by not blowing out your hair smooth, but having an assistant flat iron your hair. I had no bangs, but he dry cut me blunt "cleopatra" bangs because he messed up on one side so I said, "just blunt cut it". Even still my layers aren't right. I nearly cried and showed a co-worker the damage and needless to say, I've been spreading the word about the unprofessional language and SHOWING the butchery. I won't ever go back.

I was just amazed on how good this salon is. I moved here from Philly about a year and a half ago, and have had some horrible experience with getting my hair done properly. A friend recommended Freda Salon, I tried to get an appointment with the owner, but he was busy, so they assigned me a new fellow Louis De Bone. He was fabulous, my color, my hairstyle, from the very beginning of the consultation I knew I was in good hands. I would recommend this hair salon to anyone looking for good experience staff, to give Freda's a first try.

Just moved into the area and found Freda Salon on Google!! Went there for hilights, cut and stlye. I left so HAPPY!! Can't wait to go back again! The whole staff there is great, a real team!!

Kelly did my daughters hair, two bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid, and the grooms mother on New Years Eve for a late afternoon wedding. My daughter, the bride, has long hair and wanted some hair down in curls and some up, and the rest all wanted updos with curls. Everyone had thick hair of different lengths and Kelly did them all. Everyone was pleased and looked great. It was a very pleasant experience and the wedding day started off on a very happy note.

I recentlly move to hilton head from new york, a freind gave me the name of the owner of freda salon. I called, but he couldn,t take me for two weeks, so he recommended Bailie, I was hesitant. He reassured me that she was very capable. Well she gave me the best color and cut I have ever had, I would highly recommend this salon to everyone, they are highly professional.
