It appears a lot of the stylists once working for envy are now at the new salon that just opened.
Envy is located in such a beautiful building. Such a shame management cannot retain staff. Three weeks ago I went in for a color touch up. It was very early in the afternoon and since staff was running behind, the smiling owner offered me some wine. While a nice glass of wine is great to unwind at the end of the day, does me no good early in the day or when things are running behind.
I had a hard time understanding what the owner was talking about. Perhaps he may gain from taking speech classes. They are offered at the local college.

While Envy Salon is in a great location, nothing else is great about the salon.
Currently the web site has on line booking. Most of the stylists listed are not even working there anymore. I have lived in Round Rock for the past five years and never have I witnessed a salon having such a high turn over rate with stylists. As a customer I do not want to keep going back to a salon where I cannot even establish a relationship with a stylist.
Although the owner seems pleasant enough, his accent is hard to understand.
Also to be offered wine at 10 am, really that is pushing the "compliment beverage" a little too much".

Although reviews are mixed and I decided to try Envy.
Unfortunately it takes more than just offering beverages to make a successful salon.
Instead of focusing on drinks and penny candy, more attention needs to go into quality of stylists.

Hard to say if Envy is trying to be a hair salon, a nail salon, a cheap trinket store or what.
Needless to say when I went to Envy I was a little confused. Though offered a beverage, I was also constantly asked if I wanted to "purchase' something. I am already trying out a hair service, thereby already purchasing a product.
Though my stylist was upbeat and bubbly, my hair cut was blah. My friend who went for a manicure while I was getting my hair cut, was also sorely disappointed. She actually had tears in her eyes when walking out; not something I would want anyone to experience.

All around slow service.
Envy Salon is trying to be too much for everything.
Cheap trinkets, nails and hair. To take one and really hone in on what people what, perhaps that would resolve the hap hazzard nature of envy: what a place to avoid!

I am so happy I found Eileen! She is a really nice lady. I am very impressed with what she could do to my boring hair. The first time I saw her I had my hair cut and this time was my follow up for a trim pero I decided to get highlights. I box color my hair for a long time, being Latina. My highlights are super natural just like I told her I wanted since I haven had them in years from to a bad highlighting job over 10 years ago when they only used caps. She has a very sweet personality. I never once felt rushed. The money I spent on my hair was worth walking out of there looking 20 years younger and feeling beautiful! I feel beautiful and my husband has a new wife coming home to him everyday! Eileen speaks a lot of Spanish, we have a nice time. Muchas gracias Eileen!
