I went to the place for a facial and wax. It was aweful. The owner burnt my face with her products and the wax wasn't worth it. The owner was very rude and unsympethic when I told her she burnt my face and I had to go to the hospital. Would never go back

When setting up the appointment they told me that they could do several people at the same time. I came here with my sister to get our nails done 2 days before my wedding. They gave me someone who never did this outside of her school and she told me that she had never done a french tips before. She could not even file my nails. She destroyed my nails. I even asked her what she tought of the job that she just did and she replied it looks like it is my first time. I told her to stop. And the owner still charged us for this. I ended up going to Azana the lady did a wonderful job they even redid my toes because they were painted so awafully. My 2 year old niece could of done a better job. I don't know how they are still in business.

My first facial was wonderful......and afterwards I purchased multiple coupons (Living Social) and their own online gift certificates . That's when this business did a complete about-face. They do not answer the phone, only taking messages and then returning only those they choose . The same is true of emails. They schedule "full pay" customers and oversell online certificates, knowing they cannot fit everyone in before the certificates "expire". Then they keep your money, even though no services were performed. The owner's attitude is haughty, rude, and totally unprofessional. There are many fine spas in the Milwaukee area, but this is certainly not one of them.

They oversell coupons and online gift certificates, and it is not possible for them to fit everyone in before the coupon expires.....and they then refuse to extend the expiration date or refund your money.They use an answering machine, making communication limited. My first facial was great, so I purchased 5 additional coupons and gift certificates. Then all went downhill. The service time was shortened (60 min instead of 90), the products of poor quality, and the technique substandard. You will find negative reviews all over the web. This is a scam operation.

Would not recommend, I had an appt rescheduled by the salon and when I got there, no one was there. They have not returned my calls or emails.

I arrived for my 90 minute facial, showed the esthetician my Groupon and she (the OWNER) refused to honor it.
The Groupon was expired BUT I was told over the phone (BEFORE it expired) that they would extend the expiration date because they had had an overwhelming response to the Groupon offer and a packed schedule for weeks and weeks out.
Needless to say, I do not recommend Wauwatosa Wellness Spa. I've been to a lot of spas in the Milwaukee area and there are much, much better ones out there with far better customer service. Spas that would keep their word in such a situation.
I took a day off work, drove all the way to Wauwatosa, only to find out that I wasted both time and money. I never got the facial because the owner refused to honor what I was told over the phone.
**Lesson to all my fellow Groupon users: Even if a company says they'll extend an expiration date, don't believe them. Use it before the expiration date no matter what kind of a story they tell you.

The staff is freindly but unprofessional. Multiple staff memebers were eating in front of clients and then started appts late. The atmosphere and location are nice, but not worth it
