I went to Barragan's just to trim my hair. Somehow the stylist convinced me to color and cut it. She cut it more than i wanted and used the color that she wanted, it looked nothing like the way she explained it to me. I can't do anything with hair now, and i'm going to have to have a pony tail for the next months to cover the horrible haircut.

I was given a surprise for my birthday to get a complete makeover. I arrived at the salon/spa and to my surprise was kindly greeted by the staff and to top it all off was wished a Happy Birthday by all. It was an awesome experience. Not that I've been to many but this was by far the nicest salon/spa. The facility is beautiful and the staff was very attentive to me. I had the works...massage, manicure, pedicure and my hair colored and cut...wow I left there looking and feeling like a new woman. Thank you to the staff at Barragan's for making my birthday so special!!!

| User Review - Samantha R | I felt like I was a Queen for a day!!!
My husband gave me a gift certificate for my birthday, so before i made my appointment I searched the internet to know what to expect. I had a negative outlook after reading horrible reviews of this place.I do believe people deserve a second chance, plus I already had the gift card. As soon as I walked in I was amazed by how beautiful the place is. Everyone was very polite and attentive. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for my first service, but other than that my experience was great. I can honestly say that I felt like I was a Queen. The massage therapist (mary) asked before I had the massage if I had any specific requests or concerns, which I did, and she did exactly what I was expecting from her services. The coordinator was so attentive that she even placed my robe on my back as I got out of the sauna. I loved this place!! This was by far the best gift I had received in my life.

I got a horrible, uneven haircut that was 3 inches shorter than I had asked for (which put my hair barely falling below my ears!) When I called the next day to complain after getting over my initial shock long enough to stop crying, I was told to come in so they could fix it. Overall, the owner/manager Yoli, was extremely rude. She basically told me it was my fault that my hair turned out bad because "I held the stylists hands behind their backs so that they couldn't give me a great haircut" I was so upset because I had had the stylist show my three times where my hair would fall when cut, and she proceeded to cut three inches higher than that point. The manager offered to do NOTHING to fix it, nor did she want to give me my money back. I am outraged at the customer service and the quality of cut I received. They might have good stylists working there, but beware, if one of them screws up then they will do absolutely NOTHING to make it right!!!!
